Spanish Triplex - Apt 101 details

Accomodations:
Apartment 101 has a bright, airy bedroom with a new queen-sized bed and sliding glass doors leading outside to the new deck.  The screened door to the deck allows in evening air.  An overhead fan reduces the need for the window air conditioner.  If the mood strikes, bedside are the switches for the garden accent lights around the deck.  The bedroom has bright wicker furniture, a closet, cable TV, and DVD.

A sleeper sofa in the living room provides extra sleeping space.  A livingroom closet provides additional storage for clothes.

Of course fine linens and plush towels are provided.

Bathroom:
The tiled bathroom off the kitchen is bright and warm. It has a walk in shower with both fixed and hand-held shower heads. There is a corner tile seat in the shower for dressing and shaving. There is a high, elongated toilet that is easy to use. The bathroom was completely rennovated in late 2017.

Dining & Kitchen:
The eat-in kitchen has an electric range with a ceramic stove top, microwave, large refrigerator with icemaker, blender, toaster, coffee maker, and the usual assortment of pots, pans, utensils, dishes, and flatwater.  There is a new dishwasher.  A small table in the kitchen is fine for eating.  You may also choose to eat out on the deck.  Our guidebook containing personal restaurant reviews and menus may tempt you to visit some of the local eateries.  Nearby, Shaner's is a great place to get a hot sandwich or some fanstatic grillables. You will receive more up-to-date recommendations in our informative pre-arrival letter.

On the deck, a table and chairs provide a private eating and relaxing area.  Next to the deck, there is a gas grill for BBQs.

Communications & Entertainment:
We use wired and wireless high speed cable internet.  There are jacks in the livingroom with a wicker desk for your laptop. There are also jacks in the kitchen next to the table, and in the bedroom.  There are flat screen smart cable TVs and Blueray Players in the livingroom (36") and bedroom (24").  For foreign visitors, there is a phone line available that is shared between the 3 units - free calls to the U.S. and Canada. Please make prior arrangements if you want to use it.

Washer/Dryer:
There is a modern high efficiency front-loading clothes washer in the kitchen.  The dryer is in a shed on the deck.  A clothesline that can be strung across the deck for air drying clothes.

Beach Equipment:
There are beach towels available.  In the front alcove in the brown trunk and along the 103 walkway are beach chairs, an umbrella, and beach toys for your use.  On the right of the front entrance arch is a foot washer and freshwater hose for washing off sand.

Parking:
We will provide you with a single parking pass for residential parking on the street right in front of the triplex.  Additional cars may be parked on the east end of the street, which is not posted.  The parking pass must be returned when leaving.

Guidebook:
We have made up a guidebook to help you enjoy the area.  Included are extensive restaurant reviews and menus, suggested activities and special places to visit.  There are aerial maps to help you get a lay of the land (and sea), as well as a map of the Pinellas Railtrail.  We've also included some special places to shop.  We welcome your contributions to this guide. As part of our informative pre-arrival message we will include more up-to-date recommendations as it is difficult to keep our restaurant guide up to date.
