Spanish Triplex 101½
Accomodations:
The access to the second floor master bedroom is via a new oak staircase with 2 landings. This second floor grand bedroom has views on all 4 sides with French doors on either end. A king size bed gives you plenty of space to stretch out. The master bath is bright with beautiful tiles and a shower. There is a deck off the bedroom with views of the jungle canope and beyond. An overhead fan reduces the need for the central airconditioner. The bedroom has huge closets, modern furniture, and a beach motif to enjoy when not watching the TV.
Off the master bedroom is a sleeping alcove with a twin bed under the eaves. Curtains can be pulled to close off the area.
Downstairs, off the entrance way is a bedroom area with a top-of-the-line fold out bed. A beautifully tiled full bath is off this room.
Beyond that, there is a living room, kitchen, dining area. The living room has a sectional sofas including a fold out bed, an upholstered chair, and coffee table. It is a comfortable area to watch the 4KHD flat-screen cable/smart TV.
Of course fine linens and plush towels are provided.
Bathroom:
The new bathroom near the main entrance has an open European style accessible shower with tiles and modern fixtures.
Dining & Kitchen:
The eat-in kitchen has a electric oven, tiled counters with a ceramic stovetop and bright new cabinets. The kitchen is well equipped with a microwave, large refrigerator with ice and cold water dispenser, food processor, toaster, coffee maker, and the usual assortment of pots, pans, utensils, dishes, and flatwater make meal preperation a pleasure. The dishwasher helps with the cleanup. A glass-top table in the large kitchen area is fine for eating with views of the patio. You may also choose to eat out on the patio surrounded by tropical flowers, banana plants, and lush tropical vegetation. Nearby, Shaner's is a great place to get a hot sandwich or some fanstatic grillables for the grill on the patio.
Communications & Entertainment:
We use wired and wireless high speed cable internet. There are jacks in the livingroom with a coffee table for your laptop, and in the master bedroom next to the TV. There is a 50" 4KHD cable TV with Blu-Ray Player in the livingroom and a 32" TV with Blu-Ray Player in the bedroom. For foreign visitors, there is a phone line available that is shared between the 3 units. Calls are free to the U.S. and Canada. If you need the phone you should request it when making your reservations.
Washer/Dryer:
There is a clothes washer in the master bath on the second floor. The dryer is in a shed on the second floor deck.
Beach Equipment:
There are beach towels available. In the front alcove and along the 103 side walkway are beach chairs, an umbrella, and beach toys for your use. On the right of the front entrance arch is a freshwater footwash for washing off sand.
Parking:
We will provide you with a single parking pass for residential parking on the street right in front of the triplex. Additional cars may be parked on the east end of the street, which is not posted. The parking pass must be returned when leaving for use by our next guests.
Guidebook:
We have made up a guidebook to help you enjoy the area. Included are extensive restaurant reviews and menus, suggested activities and special places to visit. There are aerial maps to help you get a lay of the land (and sea), as well as a map of the Pinellas Railtrail. We've also included some special places to shop. We welcome your contributions to this guide. Shortly before your arrival, we will send you a welcome message with more up-to-date recommendations.
